2018 Summer School, prior to DIMACS/TRIPODS/MOPTA
A summer school was held August 10-12, 2018, prior to the DIMACS/TRIPODS/MOPTA conference. More than 40 students from universities in the United States and abroad came to Lehigh to learn about machine learning, deep learning, mathematical optimization, and how to solve data-driven problems using Python and PyTorch. The students wrote their own code and ran experiments on CPUs and GPUs using Amazon Web Services. Instruction was given by TRIPODS investigators Francesco Orabona, Frank E. Curtis, and Martin Takac, and organization and assistance was given by postdoc Courtney Paquette. Thanks everyone for your participation!
